Sponsor
The sponsor and administrator of each Live! contest is Live! App LLC. Apple Inc. is not a sponsor of, responsible for, or involved in any contest or prize in any manner.
Eligibility
Unless a campaign states otherwise, entrants must be legal residents of the United States, at least 21 years old, physically present in the campaign area, and using a permanent Live! account. Employees, contractors, participating venue personnel, and their immediate households may be excluded.
No purchase necessary
No purchase or payment is required to enter or win, and a purchase will not improve an entrant's score or chance of winning. Entry occurs only through the free qualifying app activity described in the campaign announcement. A venue may not require a purchase as a condition of submitting a qualifying Live! check-in or crowd vote.
Scoring
Unless the campaign announcement states otherwise, a verified check-in earns 5 points, a verified crowd-level vote earns 10 points, and the first qualifying contribution at each new venue during the contest earns a 5-point bonus. A check-in and a vote can each earn points once per venue per UTC calendar day. Server timestamps control.
One account and verification
Each person may participate through only one genuine Live! account. Anyone who creates, controls, or uses multiple, duplicate, fictitious, or fraudulent accounts is ineligible to win and may be disqualified and required to forfeit any prize. Qualifying activity requires an account, location services, acceptable accuracy, and presence within 100 feet of the venue. Live! may review rapid venue changes, impossible travel, shared accounts, collusion, location manipulation, automation, false submissions, attempts to evade prize limits, or other suspicious behavior. Live! may exclude unverified activity, combine related accounts, disqualify an entrant, or select an alternate winner.
Winner, notice, and ties
The eligible entrant with the highest verified score wins. Unless a campaign states another method, ties are resolved by: most unique venues, then most verified crowd votes, then earliest time reaching the final score. Live! will contact a potential winner using the account contact information. The potential winner must respond within the deadline stated in the notice and may be required to verify identity, age, residency, eligibility, and tax information. Failure to respond, satisfy eligibility requirements, or claim the prize on time may result in forfeiture and selection of an alternate winner.
Prizes and annual limit
Prizes are nontransferable and have no cash substitute unless Live! decides otherwise. No person may receive more than $1,999.99 in total prize value from Live! contests during any calendar year. Live! may reduce, withhold, or forfeit a prize that would exceed this limit. Winners are responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes and incidental expenses, and Live! may require tax documentation or issue tax reporting forms. Live! may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary.
Disqualification and changes
Live! may disqualify manipulation, harassment, unsafe conduct, rule violations, or attempts to impair the contest. Live! may pause, modify, or cancel a contest if fraud, technical failure, law, safety, or circumstances beyond reasonable control prevent fair operation.
Publicity and privacy
Subject to applicable law, winners may be identified by first name, username, city, or submitted publicity materials. Personal information is handled under the Privacy Policy.
Release and platform disclaimer
To the extent permitted by law, entrants release Live! App LLC and its service providers from claims arising from participation, technical failures, or acceptance or use of a prize, except where such a release is prohibited. Contests are not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Apple, Google, Firebase, Mapbox, participating venues, or any app store. Apple is not involved in any contest in any manner.
